Work Based Learning 

Work-Based Learning (WBL) is a key component of career and technical education by connecting classroom instruction with high-quality, real-world career experiences. WBL provides students with meaningful opportunities to develop technical, academic, and employability skills while exploring high-demand career pathways and preparing for postsecondary education and the workforce. Through experiences such as guest speakers, industry tours, career fairs, informational interviews, job shadowing, mentorships, and internships, students gain practical knowledge, build professional networks, and engage in hands-on learning that supports college and career readiness, equitable access, and successful transitions into the workforce.
