Introduction to Business is a broad-based introductory course designed to give the student exploratory experiences as they relate to the world of business. Students will explore all aspects of business through problem solving, role-playing, critical thinking, and the development of projects and activities. This course will provide students the opportunity to make intelligent career decisions. Students will learn strategies that will assist them as they develop into responsible citizens, wage-earners and consumers

This basic marketing course gives students an overview of retail, wholesale, and industrial markets. Students are introduced to such topics as market analysis, types of consumers, promotion, buying, pricing, distribution, trends in modern marketing, and careers in marketing. Marketing is an excellent course for students who plan to pursue careers in business administration, retailing, and merchandising.

This course builds upon the concepts  taught in Marketing I and is an advanced course for students interested in taking their marketing skills to the next level and developing an action plan for a successful future. This course includes instructional areas designed to provide an understanding of advanced marketing principles, careers in marketing and the importance of entrepreneurship in our economy. Major emphasis is placed on the marketing principles of economics, market research, sales, career development and entrepreneurship.

The Small Business Management course teaches the basics of planning and launching a business. Whether  interested in creating a money-making business or a nonprofit to help others, this course provides the core skills needed to succeed. Students learn about real-life teen entrepreneurs, characteristics of successful entrepreneurs, pros and cons of self-employment, and how to attract investors and manage expenses.
