Students will design and construct a cutting board and piece of furniture. Throughout the course, students will learn to safely operate traditional woodworking tools and equipment while developing foundational woodworking skills and techniques.

Students learn how to use automated woodworking technology such as a CNC router and laser engraver to make 9 personalized projects.

Students will participate in a mock business where they will design, promote, construct, and sell a mass production product of their own choice. Students will also have opportunities to construct personal projects to further their woodworking skills
