K-12 Physical Education/Health
PE/Health Overview
Parkdale
Pre K students have PE 2 times in a 6 day cycle, for 40 minutes.
K-4 students have PE 3 times in a 6 day cycle, for 40 minutes.
Middle School
PE at EAMS:
5th & 6th graders have coed classes and students meet for 40 minutes every other day for the entire year.
7th & 8th grade PE is separate for Boys & Girls and students meet for 40 minutes every other day for the entire year. All students in the middle school participate in a PE program consisting of team sports, cooperative games and fitness.
Health at EAMS:
Students take Health 1/4 of a year, each year of Middle School. Students are taught life skills to carry into high school and after graduation.
High School
Health at EAHS
Offered for 20 weeks every day. A Senior Heatlh elective is offered everyday for 20 weeks.
PE at EAHS
Classes are coed and meet every other day for the year. There are four choices of PE classes- Standard, Personal Performance, Competitive and Fitness.
