This is a "Dummy" pen for those moments you need the "feel" of a pen, otherwise you can use your finger.

Do not put pen in cup to store. When the light touches a surface it runs down the battery.
Confirm that the USB cable is plugged into the laptop and the wall plug. This will secure that the laptop and projector are communicating in order for the board to be interactive.
***Special Note: This is the 1st item to check when troubleshooting why the pen is not working properly with the board.
In order for the interactive pen to work properly, the resolution MUST be set to 1280 X 800 while the HDMI cable is plugged in to the Toshiba.

Plug in HDMI projector cable to computer.
Right click on desktop.
Choose Graphics Options.
Choose Resolution.
Set to resolution to 1280 x 800.
If setting computer resolution, unplug the projector HDMI cable before setting computer to preferred resolution.
Calibration aligns the tip of the pen to the target points on the whiteboard or whichever surface the projected image is cast on. The following procedure will work for all campuses except Acton & Hastings. These campuses will need to create a HelpDesk ticket if the board needs to be calibrated.

Steps to calibrate the projector:
Use the computer mouse to right click on green chain link in the task bar.
Choose Calibration.
Turn interactive pen on.
Tap pen on the targets showing on the board after you select Calibration.
