The Duncanville ISD Department of Technology, or IDEA Team, serves the district through a multi-disciplinary, tiered technical support structure.
Tier 1 - Helpdesk : This team provides quick, easy-access support over the phone to meet the varied needs of the students and staff.
Tier 2 - Campus Support : This team of field-based technicians attend to technical needs as they arise on campuses.
Tier 3 - Application & Technical Services : The first level of support for our helpdesk and campus support technicians, this team supports students and staff in specialized areas while bridging the gap between Engineering and the direct support tiers.
Tier 4 - Engineering : This team directly manages the district's infrastructure and technical systems including the network, phones, data center, email, system accounts, etc.
