The following equipment is assigned to this room:
2 X 86" OneScreen T7 Interactive Flate Panels
1 X Type C Dell (Puck) Dongle
Turn on both boards
Connect laptop to Primary (Left) board either wirelessly or with the HDMI/dongle connection
Broadcast Primary (Left) board to Secondary (Right) board
Turn on both boards
Press the power button at the bottom right of both boards and allow them to boot fully to the OneScreen Android home screen.
Connect the laptop to the board. There are two ways to connect:
Wireless connection
Mac
Navigate to the Top Right of the Mac screen and click on the Control Center button to the left of the Time and Date.
Click on "Screen Mirroring"
Click on the Primary board for the room you are in "TLC 132- Left- Primary"
On the OneScreen display, press "Accept" on the REQ Mirroring notification that popped up in the bottom right of the screen.
Back on the Mac, select what screen you want to share, then click "Start Mirroring." (If you're not sure, select "Entire Screen")
If you are not getting sound, go back to the Control Center.
Click on the word "Sound"
Select the Primary board that you are connected to.
Windows
On the keyboard, press the Windows logo button and the letter "K" at the same time.
Click on the Primary board for the room you are in "TLC 132- Left- Primary"
On the OneScreen display, press "Accept" on the REQ Mirroring notification that popped up in the bottom right of the screen.
If you are not getting sound, go to the Speaker icon at the bottom right of the computer.
Click on the Leveler icon to the right of the sound bar.
Select "Digital Output ()"
Wired Connection
Locate the HDMI cable from the Primary screen that is connected to the Dell Dongle on the podium.
Connect the Type-C cable from the Dell Dongle to the device being used for the presentation.
The board should auto detect and switch to the correct source. If it does not, press the gray arrow on the side of the screen. Press "Menu", and press the HDMI source that you are connected to. This will most likely be "HDMI 1"
Mac, if you are not getting sound:
Click on the Control Center icon at the top right of the computer.
Click on the word "Sound"
Select the Primary board that you are connected to.
Windows, if you are not getting sound:
Click on the Speaker icon at the bottom right of the computer.
Click on the Leveler icon to the right of the sound bar.
Select "Digital Output ()"
Broadcast to Secondary screen
At the top of the OneScreen display is a OneScreen Quick Share Menu. On the Left Screen, press the "Broadcast" button to begin streaming the image from the Primary board to the Secondary board.
Press "Start Now" on the pop-up.
Note: The audio will only play from the primary board.
The image is not showing on both boards:
Make sure you are connected to the Left Screen. Connecting to the right screen will not display to both.
The Broadcast button is grayed out and not selectable:
In this case, the secondary board may have fallen off the room's shared group. Please following these steps to fix this issue or view the Troubleshooting Image Steps:
Go to the Secondary board. This is the board on the right side of the room
Press the OneScreen Quick Share Menu at the top center of the screen
Press "View the main interface"
Press the "Menu" button in the bottom left of the pop-up
Press "Screen Group"
Press "Join Group"
Confirm the room you are in and select the "Left- Primary" board for that room
You are now connected and can broadcast like normal
Can't connect wirelessly from the laptop:
Please follow the instructions above, or navigate to the Troubleshooting Image Steps for Wireless Projection for the type of device you are using.
If the board is not showing up in the mirror options, please first restart the laptop.
If after connection the image is unstable, audio and video are choppy or sped up, please restart the laptop.
