Note:
Selecting a mic that is currently in use in room C will disconnect that mic from that room. Be mindful of this while setting up during another meeting.
Turn on/off the microphones being used
Mics must be powered on by pressing and holding the small power button on the bottom of the mic until the amber light turns on, then switch on the mic to unmute and the amber light will turn green, meaning the mic is now active.
When finished, turn off in reverse order to conserve battery life.
Important Note:
If the Lapel/Lavaliere Microphone is in use, then Handheld Wireless A Microphone must be turned off and not in use. These mics are tied to the same leveler and cannot be on at the same time. Handheld Wireless B and C Microphones and Wired Microphones can be used instead if more mics are needed.
XLR:
This is the black microphone connection next to the HDMI drop on the wall used to connect a wired microphone directly to the sound system
Wired mics can be found in the AV room
Plug directly into the XLR port on the wall and unmute at the panel
Labeled XLR on the Audio screen. Unmute and adjust as needed.
Aux:
This is the Aux (headphone) connection on the silver panel to the right of the HDMI wall port used for playing independent audio from a device that uses an auxiliary connection
Labeled Aux on the Audio screen. Unmute and adjust as needed.
Lastly, shut down the system by pressing the "Shutdown" button at the top right, and selecting "Yes, Shutdown"
If any microphones were in use, turn them off by holding the red power button on the bottom until the amber or green light turn off.
