Howdy, Tiger Families!
Brrr—it’s been a chilly and short week, but our Tigers have been doing a great job staying warm and staying kind! Even with the cold weather, classrooms have been full of learning, teamwork, and thoughtful moments during our Great Kindness Challenge. We appreciate your help making sure students come dressed for the weather and ready for the day. Thank you for helping us “weather” the cold together while continuing to make Cypress Springs a warm and welcoming place for everyone!
We are looking for a couple of Life Changers to join our Cypress Family! We have Teaching Assistant openings in PE and Special Education. If you or someone you know is interested, please reach out to me at amber.daige@dsisdtx.us OR go to our District Job Openings page at https://dsisdtx.schoolspring.com/
Drop-off! We have had increasing tardiness in the mornings. Please help us out by having students ready to go to school early in the morning and ready to get out of the car at drop-off. We could also use some help at drop-off! If you have a few extra minutes, we'd love your help with opening car doors! Let us know!

January is a great time to set one simple goal with your child—something they can work on each week. Whether it’s reading more often, staying organized, or practicing patience, focus on effort and progress. Celebrate small wins and remind your child that growth happens one step at a time.
