Food For Thought Presentations & Videos
In World Literature, I worked with Norah Dunlap, Madison Morales, Marisol Atencio, and Amelia Vinson and researched how people across the world can identity with food, and how it impacts them in their culture. We created videos explaining the impact of food on culture and created our own food recipe that combined our individual cultures into one food. Our group recipe was for Tropical Churros, with sauces from fruits that represented our culture. I chose to make blackberry sauce because they are among the top producing fruits in Georgia. Georgia's rich soil helps them grow more than other states, which is why I thought it was the best fruit to help describe my connection to Georgia.
