10/21/24 Market Revolution Mini Poster Project (APUSH)
I learned about how the railways were made, the unintended consequences of them and how it has improved over time. In this project we used canva to construct a poster and chatgpt to come up with information for our poster. We also put pictures on there to create a visual representation of what the information was speaking on.

The gas law used to make this is charles law. Charles law is when the volume of a given mass of gas varies directly with the absolute temperature of the gas when pressure is kept constant.

I understand people started using abstraction in Modernist art when they stopped using 3d spaces and used flat areas. This compares to how other cultures use abstraction becuase both Native and African American use lots of colors and define shape while Modernism uses less color and less define shapes. No, I don't think it could relate to science or math. You can make a data graph into a painting of some sort. I like to work more in a personally expressed way so iys different and everyone can interpret it differently.
1/3/24 Borax Crystal Sculptures
Borax is a salt. It is a colorless crystalline solid that dissolves in water to make a basic solution. Borax is a compound consisting of an substance called boron, united with oxygen and soda. You use hot water to dissolve the borax and this solution is super saturated. As the water cools the borax starts to create crystals. My 3d sucplutres is dynamic because of its colors.

In other classes like history i've been taught about mandalas and we made it into art by trying to create one ourselves. This year so far I have demonstrated and understood Principles of Design and Elements of Art by doing Linear Perspective. I can experiment with different possibilities in my planning process and i can show my process by doing the its elementray process. Vincent Van Gogh is one of the famous artist we have learned about.
10/19 Translations
A translation is a slide or a shift of a figure from one place to another. I've learned that translations move a shape left, right, up, or down and when a figure has been translated it will still be facing the same direction. Translations can be used in real life by the movement of aircrafts as it moves across the sky.

8/10/23 - Bubble Lab (Chemistry)
With this lab we were given the question "What brand of dish soap makes the biggest bubbles?" In our respective groups, we had to come up with a hypothesis as to which soap we thought would create the biggest bubbles and why. My group hypothesized that Dawn Dish-Soap would make the biggest bubbles because we've experienced it being very bubbly. After making our hypothesis, we conducted the experiment by using a straw to blow bubbles into the same measure of dish soap liquid and measuring the diameter of the bubble AFTER it popped. We did this three times for each dish-soap and concluded the biggest average came from the Ajax dish soap.

Mandala Research
A mandala is used by as a map representing deities. The mandala is used in particular cultures like hinduism and buddhism, they are used to serve a representation of the universe and a guide on the path to enlightenment. Principles of designs I see in a mandala is pattern, rhythm, and variety. You could use a mandala to show an atom by making the different layers the electron cloud and when you get closer to the middle it could be the nucleus.

A mathematical proof serves to convince or justify that a certain statement is true. We " prove" because it helps to increase the understanding of the result and the related concepts. Studying proofs outside of geometry can benefit me in ela when it comes to passages or articles and in the real world when i need help figuring out something .

Ai could benefit art by helping people that arent so artistic learn how to draw better or help create not so obvious pictures into obvious ones. Ai is realted to other subjects because it can easily adapt to each students invdivdual learning needs and can target instruction based on their strengths and weaknesses.
7/26/2023 What is art? How can other subjects be art?
Art is an expression of something that can be made in different forms and have different meanings. Art can be anything either called it or made out of it. Other subjects can be art if you make it into that. Subjects like english and math can be art. Making it art can be as simple as putting a whole bunch of words or numbers together and framing it.
