Drew is a close-knit and welcoming school where students build strong connections with one another and with their teachers. Because the elementary, middle, and high schools are all located near each other, it creates a sense of familiarity and community that makes the environment feel supportive and connected.

Drew is different from other schools in a few ways. One major difference is that it does not have a football team, which is uncommon for most high schools. However, it stands out in other areas, especially golf, with access to nearby courses like Charlie Yates Golf Course and East Lake Golf Club. The smaller, more connected campus also makes it unique compared to larger schools.

I did not specifically choose to attend Drew; it happened naturally. I began at the nearby daycare, Sheltering Arms and then transitioned into Drew’s elementary school. Over time, I continued through middle and high school, and it became a place I was familiar with and comfortable in.
