For this assignment, I analyzed The Great Gatsby as an allegory for social class in America. I examined the fate of the characters and considered what their outcomes revealed about American society and the American Dream. I identified patterns in how wealth, privilege, and social status affected their lives and wrote a reflection explaining my conclusions about the limitations and inequalities of the American Dream.
