DECA is an international club based around business. Every year a convention takes place where you are tasked with creating a skit, which usually entails marketing something. As well as test on different things including finance, hospitality, career development, and marketing.

In this club we are more focused on service projects, for example in 10th grade we participated in volunteer work at daycare where we helped the teachers from a distance with the kids...

For this organization, we were responsible for planning events and community forums for our grade level. One example includes celebrating monthly birthdays by distributing snacks to students whose birthdays fell within that month, helping create a sense of recognition and community. We also organized holiday-themed events, such as for Valentine’s Day, where we prepared treat bags and set up a festive space in the cafeteria with themed activities. These events helped bring students together and added a fun, engaging atmosphere to our school environment.
