What is Drew like? How is Drew different than other schools? Why did you choose to attend Drew?
Drew Charter School is a relatively small school, which comes with both advantages and challenges. One of the key benefits of its size is the ability to build strong, personal relationships with teachers, counselors, and staff. This close-knit environment allows students to receive more individualized support, whether it's for academic guidance, personal development, or college and career planning. On the other hand, the smaller student body can sometimes limit the number of peers to connect and network with. However, what sets Drew apart from many other schools is its ability to provide accessible resources and support from people who are genuinely invested in students’ success. I’ve been part of the Drew community since kindergarten, and having spent more than half of my life here, I can say that one of the main reasons I’ve stayed is because of the valuable opportunities the school offers—both academically and personally. From engaging programs to supportive mentorship, Drew has helped shape my growth and long-term goals.
