Electron Mandalas - 10/20/23

The electron Configuration Mandala had science, engineering, art, and math. We had to learn about the elements and the electrons that were in them, then we made the art cut out the circles using math and then figured out how to put them on the stick and hang them on the ceilings. We used the stuff we learned about other religions in world history and then designed the art using that knowledge also with what we knew about electron rings. The mandala helped me see how even in different cultures that have some of the same ideas about religion and art. I think our work was successful because we were able to make a Mandala that was represented of our element and we were proud of. I would give the students the opportunity to choose their groups.
