The song I chose to play is “Cherry Blossom” by Lana Del Rey. This song is from her seventh studio album and was written by Lana and Rick Nowels. This song was originally written as a lullaby and has an introspective view of the death of childhood along with a calm melody that could rock you to sleep. This piece was very fun to turn into a harp piece because it was mainly a slow piano ballad that could be translated very easily.

I thought this piece it was really good. I really enjoyed the tune key slide, I thought it really added to the piece and was fun to play. I think our final performance was really good and the way that our harps were set up really worked with the piece and tied back into the haiku. I really enjoyed learning the haikus because it was really fun techniques.
I thought that the sparrows piece was going to be hard but it ended up being easy once we learned the techniques. Some challenges were putting some things together that maybe didn't sound the greatest together. It was fun to put this piece together because we got to work with each other and it helped us kind of anticipate what each other were going to do. I think our final performance was really good, we all worked together well and we were able to get the crescendos and decrescendos with each other. I honestly don't think I would change anything.
