About Me....

My name is Marielle O'Neill, and I am a 16-year-old sophomore at Charles R. Drew Charter School, where I have been a student for the past 11 years. I have been playing the harp for four years and currently perform with the Urban Youth Harp Ensemble. In addition to music, I am passionate about soccer. I play at the club level with Concorde and have been a member of my school’s varsity team for two years.

Outside of academics and extracurriculars, I enjoy spending quality time with friends and family, and I’m always eager to take on new challenges and explore new interests. One of my favorite creative outlets is making origami flower bouquets. A fun fact about me is that I’m a twin!

Goals...

During high school, my goal is to grow both academically and personally. I aim to strengthen my study habits, further develop my skills as a harpist, and maintain a high level of academic performance—with a goal of achieving a GPA of 4.3 or higher. I also aspire to become a member of the BETA Club and complete at least 150 hours of community service, as I believe in giving back to my community.

Looking ahead, I plan to attend a four-year college. While I am still exploring potential career paths, I am excited to discover where my passions and talents will lead me.
