In Algebra II, we were assigned a project to create a polynomial based on a real-life image. I chose a boombox because I love music, and its shape was a great way to represent quadratic functions. Using Desmos, I created a polynomial that modeled the curves of the boombox. As part of the project, we used our equations to find specific parameters like vertex points, intercepts, and symmetry, helping us better understand how polynomials apply to real-world shapes.Â
