Sundiata was the first king and founder of Mali. He was an extremely heroic person and in our class , we wrote an essay about his heroism, and what was the most heroic part of his journey.

In this project, we worked with our Digital Tech class in order to compare and contrast former traditions, foods, and places from the Sundiata story, and how they compare and contrast newer traditions, foods, and places.

For this project we had to read the Oddessy, and take inspiration from one of the scenes in the Oddessy to recreate a Sundiata panel. For my project, I decided to do the scene where 9 witches are hired to assassinate Sundiata, but Sundiata wins over the witches with kindness.
