This is my essay regarding the 'greatest song of all time'. For this essay, I chose "Mirror", by Kendrick Lamar as the greatest song of all time, due to its use of apostrophe to refer between his partner’s feelings and his own, symbols to mention the release of his own soul and feelings, and repetition to convey his self-acceptance journey. These uses of figurative language prove how Kendrick Lamar’s deep, intrinsic song, “Mirror”, is the greatest song of all time.
This is my essay regarding allegory in The Great Gatsby. I wrote about the disparity between old money and new money realities, and high-class and low-class realities. I used the main characters Jay Gatsby(James Gatz), and Tom Buchanan to illustrate this disparity, regarding American Society and the American Dream.
