For this project, we reviewed multiple different innovations to help Spanish speaking countries, and countries overall. Then we picked a specific one and created an Amazon-themed showing for our portfolios, and we made descriptors in Spanish to show these different ideas.

Para este proyecto, revisamos varias innovaciones diferentes para ayudar a los países de habla hispana y a los países en general. Después elegimos una en concreto y creamos una muestra con tematica de Amazon para nuestros portafolios, e hicimos descriptores en español para mostrar estas diferentes ideas.

This unit was on technology in the Spanish speaking world. For this assignment, we researched a problem in a Spanish-speaking country, and then designed and developed an idea for an application that could help the citizens of that country with their problem. My country was Chile, and Chile was experiencing droughts, so my application idea was to help citizens conserve their water.

Por este asignacion, investigamos una problema en un pais hispanohablante, y disenado y desarrollado una idea por una aplicacion que podria ayudar ciudadanos de su pais. Mi pais fue Chile, y Chile fue tenia sequias, entonces, mi idea de aplicacion fue a ayuda ciudadanos conserven su agua

For this unit, we learned about beauty and art. I made a presentation about Joan Miro, one of the most famous Spanish-speaking painters of the last hundred years. I had challenges learning about his culture and art style, but I learned enough to present him and show others his great works of art.

Por este unidad, aprendemos sobre arte y belleza. Hace una persentacion sobre uno de los mayores famosos pinturas hispohablantes de los ultimos cien anos. Tuve desafios aprender sobre el cultura y estilo artistico de Joan Miro, pero aprendi suficiente a presentar y mostrar a otros sus obras maestras.

One activity that we did is a project on things that we would take from our houses in a house fire. These things represent our identity, and the things that we value most. I earned ow to use things in the future tense, and present tense as well. The only challenge I had was deciding what to place in my box.

Una de las actividades que realizamos fue un proyecto sobre las cosas que nos llevaríamos de nuestras casas en caso de incendio. Estas cosas representan nuestra identidad y lo que más valoramos. He aprendido a usar las cosas en futuro y también en presente. El único reto que tuve fue decidir qué poner en mi caja.

In this project we learned about different types of problems within hispanic communities and discussed them. We also talked about how different types of communities are similar and different to our own communities. 

En este proyecto aprendimos sobre diferentes tipos de problemas dentro de las comunidades hispanas y los discutimos. También hablamos de cómo los diferentes tipos de comunidades son similares y diferentes a nuestras propias comunidades.

En este proyecto, yo aprendé sobre muchos héroes de historia hispano. Uno de estes héroes fue Ruth Buendia. Ruth Buendia fue una líder de derechos civiles en Argentina por su tribu, los Ashaninkas. Durante este proyecto, mis habilidades de discurso y estilo mejoraron mucho. Unos desafíos yo tuve fue que no hay mucho información de Ruth Buendia en el red, y fue un desafío a traducir la información hay en ingles. En conclusión hay muchos éxitos y desafíos en este proyecto, pero, me volví un orador de espanol mejor por este.

In this project, I learned about many historical Hispanic heroes. One of these heroes was Ruth Buendia. Ruth Buendia was a civil rights leader in Argentina for her tribe, the Ashaninkas. During his project, my speaking and writing skills improved a lot. Some challenges that I had was that there wasn't much information about Ruth Buendia on the internet, and I had a challenge in translating the information there was into English. In conclusion, there were many successes and challenges in this project, but I became a better Spanish speaker because of it.
