For this Guernica project, we combined different subjects to create an inclusive overall PBL project. The subjects that were incorporated in this project were World Literature, Visual Arts, and Chemistry. We had to incorporate different aspects of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics). Our grade level had to create a Guernica like the one Pablo Picasso made in 1937 that symbolized different topics that we cared about.

Esto tipo de trafica es mal para es efecto muchos personas y animales y como ellos viven. Muchos personas no saber que el trafica del fauna y flora es, pero nosotros necesitamos decir personas de esto problema. El tráfico de fauna y flora destruir las casas de las animales y pueden impacto nuestro casa también. Tu puedes decir personas diferent de la problema y informe si tu ves algo que es mal para tu comunidad y las animales.
For the Spanish portion of our Guernica/Space Is the New Place project, we began to talk about different trafficking around the world. The topic that we chose base off the article was Wildlife Trafficking. The article explained what is going on with Wildlife trafficking and what the UN is doing to stop and prevent it. This is important to know because the impact of wildlife trafficking affects both animals home and ours. People need to be informed about what is going on to help stop and support organizations that are in their community. Wildlife trafficking not only affects animals, it affects the human community too.
For this project, we had to write an argumentative essay about the topic that we chose for our propaganda poster. Like I stated above, my topic was the disparities that African Americans face with access to education. We created an outline that is shown below.
We had to create a PSA about one of the topics that would be on the Guernica. We chose the topic of gun violence. We had to research the topic and plan out what we were going to say in our PSA. I worked on this project with Laila Shannon, Lucinda Peterson, Sydney Gaines, and Destiny Downie.
This Guernica slideshow showed the process that we took to create our group piece of the grade level Guernica. We had to choose a topic based off of propaganda and events that are relate to us. I had to add pictures and description of the how idea development and final product. I worked on this project with Maya Aquino and Josiah Rich.
For the artist statement video, we had to explain our Guernica project and the ascept that we put into it. We took the video in Mr.O's classroom where it was filmed, edited, and then sent to us so that it could be used and displayed at our PBL. I worked on this project with Maya Aquino and Josiah Rich.
In this slideshow, we researched how to create a Forest Green pigment to create paint for our Guernica piece. My group members and I each research a color to create the perfect tint for Forest Green color. I worked on this project with Maya Aquino and Josiah Rich.
For AP World History, we look at and talked about world conflicts that was going on during different time periods. We talked about the Holocaust and how Jews were treated.
