For this project, our task was to create a music video that creatively incorporated several key topics we had learned throughout the school year. The goal was to demonstrate our understanding of these concepts by expressing them through music, visuals, and storytelling. After completing and submitting our videos, the class held a competition to determine which music video was the most engaging, creative, and effectively communicated the subject matter.
I collaborated closely with Brooklynn Caruth on this project. Together, we brainstormed ideas, wrote the lyrics, selected the music, and planned the video scenes to ensure that our final product was both entertaining and educational. Working as a team allowed us to combine our strengths and share creative input, which made the process enjoyable and rewarding. This project not only helped us review important content but also developed our skills in collaboration, video production, and multimedia presentation.
For this project, we were assigned a specific topic related to farming and agricultural history, which we had to research thoroughly and then present to our classmates. To make the experience more immersive and engaging, we dressed up in the traditional attire that our assigned farmer would have worn during their time period. This helped bring authenticity to our presentation and allowed us to better understand the daily life and culture of farmers from that era. Additionally, we prepared and distributed samples of the food and crops that our farmer would have “grown,” giving our classmates a tangible connection to the agricultural practices we studied.
I collaborated with Brooklynn Caruth on this project, and together we divided the research, coordinated our costumes, and planned how to present the crops effectively. This project not only enhanced our research and presentation skills but also deepened our appreciation for the hard work and lifestyle of farmers throughout history. It was a fun and interactive way to connect with the past and share what we learned with others.
