All State Orchestra

All State Orchestra was one of the best experiences I have ever had in my entire musical career so far. All State Orchestra was a rigorous audition process involving many professional harp excerpts from composers like Bernstein and Tchaikovsky. The preparation during this time involved playing with recordings, metronome counting, and also writing in cues for multi-measure rests. My friends from the Talent Development program also attended allowing for us to relax with each other and even go out for lunch and dinner together. With this being my first orchestral experience, it is definitely something I would love to experience over and over again.
