English Poem Recitation Competition

Poetry Recitation is a mode of expression, a medium to reflect the hidden talents of the young ones. It is a stepping stone for the young students to develop their verbal skills and to boost their confidence. Taking all these facts into consideration the young Dipsites of Grade -2 got an opportunity to exhibit their talent through English Poem Recitation Activity as a virtual event this year, held on 27th October 2020. The students chose a variety of topics for their recitation and recited them with great zeal like Jungle parade,Leave the fish in water,My first day of school,My three little seeds,Rain in Summer, The Apple, Thank you Teacher, Two little dicky birds.

This activity was conducted to expand student’s experience and exposure to poetry. It was indeed, a great pleasure to watch them reciting the rhymes with confidence and actions which indeed was a result of hours of practice. We would like to appreciate the efforts of all the parents in taking the practice of recitation competition,thereby encouraging the budding poets
