I chose to list this website as it provides a foundation of knowledge for people wishing to know more about all things "gifted". A person can start with the basics and go deeper as they want to acquire more knowledge.

The founder of this webpage is a well respected supporter of gifted education that became interested in this topic, like many people, because of her child. She understands what a lonely place the world can be when you know you need help for your child, but you are afraid of saying anything for fear of being called elitist. This site is loaded with educational resources, social/ emotional supports and gifts you can buy to support GT interests.

On this website, parents can learn the basics of what the term "gifted" means. They can acquire strategies to build their child's social/emotional skills. As well, they can keep their child's busy at home through the site's recommended books, curriculum and toys. Parents can also find research-based articles to help them advocate for their gifted learner such as A Nation Deceived: How Schools Hold Back America’s Brightest Students and Acceleration in Schools: A Call to Action.

Teachers can deepen their understanding of gifted students' needs through the books and research referenced on this site. Supports for professional development can also be found.
