Completion of Stage 5 Religious Education. This course is recommended for students with high levels of competency in religious education and writing.
Course Description
Studies of Religion I promotes an understanding and critical awareness of the nature and significance of religion and the influence of belief systems and religious traditions on individuals and within society.

● Religious Tradition Study 1 – Christianity
● Religious Tradition Study 2 – Islam
HSC Course
● Religion and Belief Systems in Australia post-1945
● Religious Tradition Depth Study 1 and 2 (Christianity and Islam)
Study of the following in both Religious Traditions:
- Significant People and/or Schools of Thought
- Ethics
- Significant practices in the life of adherents
Particular Course Requirements
Changing course between Studies of Religion and Studies in Catholic Thought is not permitted.
