Course Description
Studies in Catholic Thought promotes an understanding and critical awareness of the human person and how to live a Christian life. Students arrive at this understanding through the exploration of the theology, scripture, philosophy, history, texts, music and artwork of the Catholic Tradition. (This course is significantly different in content and approach to learning that students have undertaken in Stage 5 Religious Education.)
For whom is this subject intended
This course is aimed at all students who wish to explore the Catholic Faith through the arts, philosophical reasoning and practical application.

HSC Course
Core Module 1: Virtue, Vice and Salvation 20 hours
Core Module 2: The Good Works 20 hours
Core Module 3: The Common Good 20 hours
Particular Course Requirements
Completion of internal assessment. Completion of an examination as a component of the HSC internal assessment.
Please Note: changing course between Studies in Catholic Thought and Studies of Religion is not permitted.
