Disable Touch bar with Siri

Prior to commencing the NAPLAN examination and throughout testing, all students are expected to disable the Touch Bar and remove Siri from the Touch Bar on their device.

1. Click on the Apple icon on the top left corner of your screen, from the drop-down menu open System Preferences, then select Keyboard

2. Open the dropdown menu for Touch Bar Shows, and select Expanded Control Strip

3. Open the dropdown menu for Press Fn key to, and select Show F1, F2, etc. Keys

4. Select Customise Control Strip.

5. Drag the Siri icon off the Touch Bar and onto the panel shown in the screen capture above

6. Select Done
