Usage, Support & Repair

As part of our policy involving technology use at Mount Carmel, all students continually participate in education in device usage and care. Students are required to complete a Technology Agreement as part of their enrolment at the College. This reminds students of their rights and responsibilities when using these devices.

Mount Carmel uses web filters, firewalls and explicit teaching to keep students safe when using their devices online, however, at home, families are required to set their own boundaries around device use and time spent online.

General device maintenance and software installation can be completed on site through the I.C.L.T Department and when further repair is required I.C.L.T support can organise an Apple certified repairer (EduCom IT) who can repair anything under warranty and quote and repair anything that is not covered under warranty.
