APPROACH
Theoretical/project based
Building on the fundamentals acquired through the "Digital video" course, this module furthers compositing knowledge through the implementation of 3D tools and techniques into the working pipeline. The second part of the course, strongly project-oriented, will introduce student to the world of colour correction. The course aims to offer a complete overview of theoretical elements and practical tools. The project lab will cover the understanding and use of DaVinci Resolve.
The programme consists of one single module, which grants 8 credits.
Successful students will be able to:
Handle: advanced project settings, keying, tracking, 3D camera, particles
Integrate Nuke-Maya
Understand all the steps of the colour correction and colour grading process
Professionally perform colour correction operations for various kind of audio-visual productions
Advanced compositing: 3D compositing, deep compositing, particle systems
Understanding of moments, processes and professionals involved in colour correction
Workflow and processing within DaVinci Resolve
This is a theoretical/project based course.
The students will take part in the following activities, which may vary depending on the development of different projects:

Use of tutorials, videos or other media tools
Exercises and revisions
Workshops
Individual or group projects
Individual or group study and research
