1. What would you consider to be your biggest challenges this year and how did you overcome them?

The biggest challenge is teachers are overwhelmed with the needs of our students in the midst of the ongoing pandemic. I'm trying to overcome this by offering to co-plan and co-teach tech integration as well as streamline all communication and meetings to align with the building's vision.

2. How will these takeaways affect the sustainability of this program?

Every instance of co-teaching has been well received by both teachers and students. Teachers have responded that the students were more engaged and that the lesson was successful. This partnership and awareness will help us sustain our technology integration work.

1. What would you consider to be your biggest successes this year and why?

My biggest success is that teachers are beginning to open up the door to allow me to co-teach with them that did not last year. Mindsets are shifting to see the value of tech integration when it isn't a necessity.

2. How do your successes align with your professional learning plan?

This aligns with our professional learning plan as an impact of Goal #1: Teachers and students will use technology as a tool to engage the community beyond the 4 walls of the classroom at least once per trimester including, but not limited to: connecting with students in other classes/grades/schools, connecting with community partners, connecting with experts in the field, connecting learning with the real world through technology, and virtual reality experiences. Teachers are looking for support to implement these experiences while staying in their curriculum.

2. What needs to change (areas of growth) for your continuous growth in the program? Why and how?

We will continue to grow in the VILS program as we continue to grow our TLC and Student Tech Teams. These two leaderships groups will have a ripple effect as they share support and victories.
