All teachers are having students use their devices. The majority of classes have students using their devices at least weekly. 

Students are using their chromebooks to create content in the majority of their classes.

1. How are families empowered to support their children at home?

I have supported teachers to create email groups for streamlined updates from the classroom. Teachers have reported back that this has helped. Parents appreciate the weekly communication with an academic focus. 

2. How did you support technology literacy in your community? 

Our Student Tech Team has created tutorials that are available for both students and families. We encourage families to use the same tech tools as our students access such as google classroom and gmail. They access information through our website and sign up for parent teacher conferences using technology. Translation tools are also used within our school community. 

3. What does technology support look like for your parents?

We could grow in this area by providing training or support at Open House or Parent Teacher events. I respond to parent emails asking for help when they are received.
