• We believe that DBI will create cost savings in administrative costs for medium sized businesses.

• We believe that DBI will encourage SMEs to participate in government more

• At the point of need (e.g. having found a fund on a gov.uk service and needing to apply), and given an option to choose between setting up a DBI account and finishing the transaction, users will opt to finish the transaction.
• The point of need (the need to carry out due diligence on suppliers, partners or other business generally)...perhaps companies house is the point of need...

• We believe that some micro-businesses will see no need, have no time, ambition to grow, and therefore will see no benefits of a DBI solution. However, where micro businesses use third party companies like accountants, financial advisors and government fund/contract finder companies whom advise them to get a DBI account they will.

We believe that where medium sized businesses see that DBI could increase business opportunities they will buy into a premium version of a DBI service.

• We believe that within context of a journey and having understood the journey there will be on the whole no problem with the attributes that are being entered.

• We believe some data might be perceived as more sensitive than others.

Tech companies will have a general propensity toward signing up given their quick understanding of the terrain and recognition of the benefits.
