Three journeys we envision SME users taking

The current focus is on the non-transactional journey

• Currently we are concept testing journey 2 in the diagram below because journey 3 will lead back to the gov.uk page and journey 1 is not something we can test so specifically as we do not know how a bank or insurance company might package it.
• Journey 2 is also distinct in that users can create an account without having to do a transaction. This is in contrast to Verify where you can only create an account during a transaction.

Big picture

• Journey 1 is envisioned to have the highest volume of users signing up for a DBI facility.
• Private sector will drive the highest numbers of businesses getting DBI assured.
• In Journey 3 we will give them a choice around signing up for an account.
• MVP is agnostic to environment as it is a back end thing

Testing

• Everyone will have a personal identity (a personal bank etc) (so no need to probe in this direction so much)
