WHAT SERVICE/S DO YOU NEED?
This refers to the document issued by the Philippine Embassy on the record of birth of a Filipino citizen born in France or Monaco.
Both or either of the parents must still be Filipino citizens at the time of birth.
This refers to the document issued by the Philippine Embassy on the record of marriage of a Filipino citizen married in France or Monaco.
This refers to the document issued by the Philippine Embassy / Consulate on the record of the death of Filipino citizens who died in France or Monaco.
Both bride and groom must be Filipino citizens for their marriage to be solemnized at the Consulate.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQs)
The birth must be reported to the Embassy/Consulate with jurisdiction over the place of birth so that the child can be recognized as a Filipino citizen.
The death of a Filipino citizen occurring outside of the Philippines must be reported to the Embassy of the Philippines for the said death to be properly registered and recorded with the Office of the Civil Registrar General in Manila, and for other legal purposes.
Marriages that occur abroad between Filipino citizens or between a Filipino and a foreigner should be registered with the Philippine government. This helps ensure that the union is legally recognized in the Philippines and serves as an official record for any legal requirements in the future.

Requirements for Notarial of Affidavit of Legitimation by Subsequent Marriage of Parents
Personal appearance of the signatories at the Consular Section of the Philippine Embassy.
If a personal appearance at the Philippine Embassy is not possible, the applicants should personally appear at the nearest Philippine
Consulate.
Requirements:
1. Original document to be notarized and one (1) photocopy;
2. Two (2) copies of the data pages with signature page of the valid passports of the applicants
3. Original Marriage Contract from the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) duly authenticated by the Department of Foreign
Affairs (DFA) OR if married in France/Monaco, original copy of the Report of Marriage (ROM), and one (1) photocopy
4. Signature of two (2) disinterested witnesses of legal age
5. Payment of 22.50 Euros per document in cash or La Poste mandat cash payable to the order of “Ambassade des Philippines”
