These phones are in lieu of a typical smartphone and are designed for kids to have communication (texting/calling) with no internet browser or social media options

Gabb Wireless Phone

• Gabb has its own cellular coverage and offers unlimited call and text messaging

• Android phone that has texting, calling, camera, GPS, calculator and calendar

• NO internet browser, social media apps or any additional apps besides what comes installed on the phone

• Can play music if downloaded to the phone

• Optional image texting and group texting

• No parent portal to manage the phone, if parents want to monitor texts they can manually read through kids texts

$150 for the phone, $17-25/month for the phone service

Gabb Watch

• Cell phone capabilities (texting and calling), watch, GPS tracking

• allows for 10 contacts

• Does not pair with smartphone or Gabb phone

Pinwheel

• Pinwheel is an android phone with a monthly subscription for the software on the phone and parents can choose which cellular provider they want for the monthly cell coverage (works with almost all major carriers)

• Has standard apps including texting, calling, camera, calendar and GPS

• Has a curated app store that parents can choose from including music streaming (Apple Music, Spotify, etc), school-apps (Google suite and study apps), social-emotional apps (Headspace, calm, etc), budgeting (Greenlight, Everydollar, etc)

• NO internet browser, social media apps or any additional apps besides what they have available to download

• Parent portal online to manage every aspect of the phone: parents allow apps to be downloaded, add contacts to the phone, monitor phone calls and texts

• Compatible with Bark (extra $5/month) which monitors texting and apps for bullying, self-harm and other risky communication or behaviors
