The value of Grow Groups

The value of Grow Groups for middle school students at Denver Christian School is immense. It provides a safe and supportive environment for students to connect with their peers, share their thoughts and feelings, and grow in their faith and they continue to find their place in God’s story. Grow Groups allows students to build meaningful relationships, receive guidance and mentorship from adult leaders, and explore their beliefs and values in a safe setting. It also offers opportunities for students to reflect on the message from Thursday's chapel, engage in discussions, ask questions, and learn from one another's experiences. Overall, Grow Groups will play a crucial role in developing spiritual growth, emotional well-being, sense of purpose, identity as well as a sense of belonging for middle school students at Denver Christian School.

Growing in the knowledge of Jesus means deepening one's understanding of His teachings, principles, and values. It involves studying the Bible, learning from the experiences of other believers, and seeking guidance from the Holy Spirit. Living a life more like Jesus means imitating His character and actions, striving to love and serve others selflessly, and aligning one's thoughts, words, and actions with His teachings. It is about developing a close relationship with Jesus and allowing His love and grace to transform our heart and mind. Delighting in following Him means finding joy and fulfillment in obeying His commands and surrendering to His will. It involves finding satisfaction and contentment in living according to His purpose and experiencing the abundant life He promises.
