Reviewing and teaching grammar will be done in the course of the year.

This course is intended for students in Kita Yud (10th grade, כיתה י') who wish to progress to the English Bagrut in Yud Alef (11th grade, כיתה י"א) and Yud Bet (12th grade, .(כיתה י"ב
We will have a focus on grammar and vocabulary required for Bagrut.
Exercises will include: Group and individual discussions, debates, writing literature reviews, essays, letters, and film and book reviews.
We will use poems, short stories and news articles to develop reading comprehension and critical thinking.
We will begin to study, and complete assignments for, the literature module for the Bagrut.
There will be writing and presentation projects to complete.
The lesson will be delivered in English and/or Hebrew, depending on the level of the group.
Terms of activity
If you choose English, attendance is mandatory as well as coming to class on time with motivation.
Students are expected to perform classroom tasks and complete any homework on time.
Bring equipment for each lesson - a lined notebook, pens and pencils.
A textbook and workbook will be provided.
