Teens Give Thoughts on Hybrid... and You Can Too! - Survey

By Maddie RichBaker

Everybody involved in Hybrid learning has a different opinion and the public doesn't always know what teens are thinking. Hybrid is stressful, but what school isn’t? We have gone around the school and asked different kids the same questions:

"How do you feel about Hybrid?"

"What is the most fun part of Hybrid?"

"What is the worst part of Hybrid?"

"What elective would you switch to during Hybrid if you had the chance?"

Here's what these students said:

“I like it, I’m really excited to go back to regular school. I’m happy to be social and am happy to at least be in school, even if it is part-time.” -Beth Craven

“I feel Hybrid is a good chance to be around people again. I am dealing with Hybrid very slowly and I am making sure to get work in. I feel the most fun part about Hybrid is being in person and being able to work with teachers. I guess the worst part would be waking up early and having to talk to people and be around them after a year online. The class I wish I could take right now is Culinary.” -Anonymous

“It’s fine, I don’t know anybody and I like to get help from teachers. I don’t find any part of Hybrid fun and the worst part of Hybrid is having to wake up early. It sucks that I have to walk and move around a lot. The class I wish I could switch to during Hybrid would have to be art.” -Sativa

“Hybrid is alright. It’s kind of nice doing half at home and half in-person and there aren't as many classes, which makes it feel like I can get work done. I don’t find any part of Hybrid fun, but I feel it is efficient. The worst part of Hybrid is we don’t have lunch. The class I wish I could switch to is Production, although I wouldn’t mind any class.” -Cheeto/Elijah
