Partners in Art is an inclusive visual arts course designed to bring together students receiving Special Education or 504 services with general education peers in a collaborative learning environment. Students will explore foundational art techniques such as drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media while projects are adapted to meet individual needs. General education students serve as peer mentors, gaining leadership, empathy, and service-learning experience as they support their partners in the creative process. This course emphasizes creativity, collaboration, and respect, providing equitable access to the Fine Arts graduation requirement while fostering a school culture of inclusion and belonging.
