2. Network environment:
School environment: The school uses a local area network to connect to the Internet. Comparatively speaking, the speed is faster than we imagined. Sometimes the computer software we need to use cannot be used on the school computer, so other software must be used instead.
Home environment: Some students do not have computers at home or have low-power computers, so they spend most of their time at school. We use the lunch break every day to complete the progress.
3. Our encounters and problems:
Question 1. Web page layout design:
Because the content of this webpage layout is designed by ourselves, it is richer and more refined than the previous layout. As a result, the difficulty has been greatly increased. Some people are not good at designing webpages or have no foundation. For students, it will be much more difficult.
Solution:
We will ask the seniors or teachers at the Internet Expo for help, and they will teach us amiably. The purpose is to prevent us from feeling stressed, worried about not being able to catch up with the progress, or being frustrated by dragging down others.
Question 2. Progress issue:
Because we still have to prepare for college entrance exams and have holiday school classes, and we personally use a lot of time to create our own layout designs, we obviously don’t have enough time to make web pages, and we have very little time for training.
Solution:
We used our lunch break and students who had computers at home to make them at home. As for the schoolwork, as long as it is close to the section exam week, the instructors at the Internet Expo will ask our class tutors to use their time to help us strengthen our homework, or take a break in the classroom at noon to prevent us from lagging behind other students in our homework.
Question 3. Writing an article:
Because some students have just joined the Internet Expo team, it is difficult for them to write articles. At the beginning, it is not clear how to analyze this topic in depth, because writing articles requires first understanding the topic content and then clearly using words. Narrative content, so writing articles is difficult for them.
Solution:
We asked the seniors and teachers at school for advice, or used the webpages created by the seniors in previous years as our reference. Through many discussions we solved the problem, and finally we can now write articles smoothly.
4. Reflections:
We learned a lot from this special study on web spiders. During the visit, we learned rare experiences outside of the school curriculum. How about we learned about the history of pineapples, visited some pineapple fields, and participated in some related activities. Pineapple activities, pineapple-related ice products and cans, these are the history that is slowly disappearing in our lives. During the process, the local staff and boss carefully explained to us the history and architectural features of the place... It is hoped that this special topic can let tourists understand the culture and stories of Pingtung pineapples, and allow people to have a deeper understanding of the history of Taiwan pineapple. People from all over the world can also learn about the glorious past of Pingtung pineapple. During the visit, we also learned about communicating with others, respecting others, teamwork and friendship with classmates. However, in the process of making web pages, what we learned was language expression skills, technological skills and web design skills. We also have to work hard to accompany our teachers along the way. We also hope that thanks to this competition, we can tell more about Pingtung Pineapple, and the stories we create will be able to visit tourists here forever.
