Cavite State University (CvSU)–Carmona Campus, through its Extension Services Office, successfully held a campus-wide community outreach initiative titled “One Campus, One Cause, One SPARK: Sharing Positivity and Radiating Kindness” at the Audio-Visual Room on December 17, 2025. The activity gathered students from various academic organizations, faculty members, and staff in a collective effort to extend support and goodwill to the beneficiaries of the campus extension programs through a meaningful gift-giving activity.

The Extension Services Office and the Department of Industrial and Information Technology of Cavite State University – Carmona Campus successfully held the training titled “ExCEL: Expanding Community Engagement through Learning in Industrial and Information Technology” on April 25, 2025. The event took place from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the campus Audio-Visual Room, gathering faculty and student extensionists in a day-long collaborative effort to integrate community engagement into academic instruction.

With the arrival of Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) grants for the Tofu Production Plant of Persons with Disability Organization Carmona Cavite, Inc., the Persons with Disability Affairs Office - Carmona sought technical assistance from Cavite State University – Carmona Campus.

Answering the call, Dr. Joan L. Fortuna and Mr. Klenton R. Torrevillas, faculty extensionists from the Department of Hospitality Management, provided their expertise to support the setup of the facility, ensuring an efficient and sustainable production process.

This initiative underscores the importance of partnerships in creating inclusive and sustainable livelihood opportunities for persons with disabilities.
