Faculty members from the DIIT, including Dr. Regene G. Hernandez, Mr. Richard L. Hernandez, Mr. Mark Anthony R. Abril, Mr. Jonell V. Ocampo, and Ms. Rochelle C. Malabayabas, monitored 17 participants (13 males and 4 females) of the training on Basic Computer-Aided Design.
Training on Arduino Microcontroller Fundamentals

A training on Arduino Microcontroller Fundamentals was conducted from September 28 to October 19, 2019. A total of 8 male out-of-school youths were taught on how to identify the fundamental parts of the Arduino microcontroller and its function; create and upload programs to the microcontroller; familiarize the interface basic input and output devices to the microcontroller; and construct a simple Arduino-based project.
Training on Basic Computer-Aided Drafting

A training on Computer-Aided Drafting was conducted from February 3 to March 17, 2019. A total of 32 out-of-school youths (16 males and 6 females) were taught on how to identify different tools and functions of CAD software; apply different tools appropriately in creating a technical drawing; draw simple mechanical drawings (orthographic and isometric) using CAD software; and plot/print a specific CAD drawing.
Training on Basic Programmable Logic Controller

A training on Basic Programmable Logic Controller was conducted on December 1, 2017. Three out-of-school youths (2 males and 1 female) were taught how to use VOM multi-meter and soldering iron safely; read schematic/wiring diagrams of basic domestic appliances; identify the trouble or problem of basic domestic appliances; and repair certain domestic appliances.
Arduino Microcontroller Training

On December 1, 2017, a training on Arduino Microcontroller was conducted, which was participated by out-of-school youths and Grade 11 STEM students of Angelo L. Loyola Senior High School. The participants were trained to identify the parts of a microcontroller; demonstrate microcontroller programming; use interface sensors to the microcontroller; and control simple output devices using a microcontroller.
Deployment and Demonstration of Bio-Waste Shredder Machine

Consumer Electronics Training

A Consumer Electronics Training was conducted from September 25 to November 27, 2016. A total of 8 residents of Carmona, Cavite (6 males and 2 females) participated and were trained on basic appliance repair and maintenance. It also covered shop safety, proper use of VOM, soldering technique, and circuit analysis.
Mr. Jonell Ocampo and Mr. Gerry Prado served as resource speakers/trainers.
