ABOUT THE PROJECT
Barangay Entreprenyur was a project that trained community members to start and operate a small business and become successful entrepreneurs. Livelihood programs on container gardening and food processing were introduced. As more than half of the community have an income below Php 5,000/month which is way below the poverty line set by NEDA, this project also aimed to increase their income and perhaps wean them from the subsidy given by both local and national government.
