ABOUT THE PROGRAM

CvSU-Carmona formulated its extension program dubbed "ARM" - Accessing community, Rendering services and Maintaining Relationships (cARMona). In human anatomy, arm is the upper limb of the body, comprising regions between the shoulder and elbow joints. The arm is also the common body part used in helping other people. 

The program intended to access communities in need, render appropriate services, and maintain robust relationships with and among the people in the community. This extension program was also guided by the identified Research, Development, and Extension thrusts of the University particularly on poverty alleviation, gender and development, pedagogy, ecosystem management, and information and communication technology among others. Through this program, the community benefitted while the faculty and students gained experiences for further professional development.

OBJECTIVES

Generally, CvSU Carmona through the extension program aimed to uplift the economic status of the people in the barangays by having access to these communities, rendering appropriate services, and maintaining health relationship with and among the people in the selected communities.

It also aimed to support the transformation of these communities or specific group of people into more productive organization in terms of human, financial and social capital.
