Socks of Support!

On March 21st, CMS celebrated Down Syndrome awareness day. If you didn't know, people who are born with Down syndrome, a chromosomal difference, were born with an extra chromosome which affects how babies' bodies form and function as it grows. However, this doesn't change feelings, emotions, or personality. Down syndrome doesn't define you! 

To honor our friends with down syndrome, CMS showed support by wearing fun and colorful socks. If you are wondering why we chose to show support by wearing socks it's because our chromosomes are shaped like socks!
