Aru Shah and The End of Time

Aru Shah, a twelve year old, has trouble fitting in at her school. This is because, while her other friends are going off on expensive trips, she will be spending her autumn holiday at a Museum of Ancient Indian Art and Culture, waiting for her mother to return from her latest archeological trip. Feeling left out, Aru tries to fit in, however, in order to do so, she stretches the truth by telling everyone that she's royalty and that she travels to Paris, and has a chauffeur! One day, some of her classmates catch her in the lie. After this, they don't believe anything Aru says, so when she tells them that the museum's Lamp of Bharata is cursed, they think she's lying again. They dare her to prove it, so she does. However, lighting the lamp has consequences. She unknowingly frees the Sleeper, an ancient demon whose duty is to awaken the God of Destruction. Her classmates and beloved mother are frozen in time, and it's up to Aru to save them. The only way to stop the Sleeper is to find the reincarnations of the five legendary Pandava brothers, protagonists of the Hindu epic poem, the Mahabharata, and journey through the Kingdom of Death. But how is one girl in Spider-Man pajamas supposed to do all that?
