LET'S TALK ABOUT MATH!

Although this focus group will be conducted primarily in French, it will be possible to answer questions in English.

Bien que ce groupe de discussion se déroulera principalement en anglais, il sera possible de répondre aux questions en français.

Targeted Audience: Math teachers working with AGE First Nations and Inuit learners
Clientèle visée : Les enseignants de mathématiques qui travaillent auprès d’adultes en FGA issus des Premières Nations et des Inuit

Moderators/Animateurs : Micheline Ammar, Julie Bourcier and Nicole Martin

A second focus group will take place on February, 12, from 12 to 1 p.m.
The same topics will be addressed but this time, it is intended for all Math teachers working in the AGE English sector. You are more than welcome to join in as well!

In order to prepare for the discussion, it is strongly suggested to :

• If you can, attend Workshop 1 on Friday, January 29, from 10:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.;

• when available, watch, in part or in whole, the recording of Workshop 1 presented by Micheline Ammar and Louise Roy;

• take a look at Workshop 1 and its details on the NMW's English sector's webpage;

• prepare your questions.

For those who are unable to attend the focus group, you can send your questions to equipechoc.autochtones@carrefourfga.ca by February 11th. These will then be presented to the group, and you will be able to view the resulting discussions and answers to your questions as soon as the recording becomes available on the NMW's Indigenous webpage.

Topics for discussion will focus primarily on the CCBE content presented in Workshop 1.
